Our Belfast Jumper, a chunky Aran knit whose name derives from the Galway coast in the West of Ireland, embodies the unofficial uniform of the local fishermen and their need for durable and quick-drying knitwear. The unbleached natural wool creates a cream tone and cosy appearance. The stitching resembles the thick weaves of fishermen’s ropes, intentionally designed for extra warmth against the elements. Locally sourced, the wool can absorb double its own weight to prevent the wearer from getting wet – perfect for the rainy British winters. 100% wool.
