I have always been interested in whether the principles behind Caramel could be shared with a broader audience. 

Last year, following  a chance encounter at our Paris store with Inditex’s Marta Ortega Pérez, an incredible opportunity presented itself.

A collaboration built on a mutual love for creativity and a desire to share Caramel with a broader audience, finding balance between Caramel’s design philosophy and Zara’s global expertise. 

I have always drawn inspiration from around the world; discovering fabric, form and the most impressive artisans to craft my collections with a universally thoughtful touch. Zara’s global reach reveals an exciting opportunity to express our international approach to its fullest potential. 

Our unique collaboration is a capsule of staples, embracing  versatility, comfort and ease. Retaining the Caramel spirit by drawing on some of my favourite inspirations, including uniforms and menswear fabrics, celebrating the individuality of every customer. Expressive clothes that children can live in and make their own. 

I have also crafted a limited capsule of womenswear and accessories offering a versatile wardrobe that reflects Caramel's commitment to quality fabrics, expert tailoring and effortless wearability.

The creative process, from fabric selection and garment construction to styling and visual presentation, has been curated by myself. Whilst Zara’s design and product teams have been essential in the development and distribution. My constant and continued involvement was necessary to ensure consistency and clarity of vision throughout - upholding Caramels values and vitality whilst allowing this exciting moment of growth to unfold with ease.
