Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and commercially-minded Retail and Wholesale Manager to join our London team. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership and proven experience across both retail and wholesale within the luxury fashion sector. You will oversee day-to-day operations, develop and implement business strategies, and play a key role in driving growth across multiple channels, both in the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across all retail locations, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency
- Manage and grow domestic and international wholesale accounts, nurturing strong client relationships
- Develop and execute seasonal wholesale and retail business plans in line with company objectives
- Analyse market trends, merchandising reports, and store KPIs to inform buying and range planning
- Lead in-season trading conversations with wholesale customers and respond to performance trends
- Liaise with the warehouse to ensure timely and appropriate stock distribution to stores
- Use merchandising data to ensure each store is carrying the best-performing ranges
- Train and brief retail staff on incoming collections, product knowledge, and seasonal launches
- Communicate collection launches, promotions, and business updates to wider internal teams
- Review store staff performance, conduct appraisals, and support staff development
- Implement strategies for old stock, including markdowns and sample sales
- Seek new wholesale opportunities, initiate and negotiate contracts with new partners
- Monitor and manage retail and wholesale budgets, working to hit margin and revenue targets
- Support the design team by providing qualitative and quantitative feedback from retail and wholesale channels to help shape future collections
- Planning and delivery of seasonal showrooms and trade events
- Ensure the highest visual merchandising and brand presentation standards in all retail spaces
Key Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in both retail and wholesale management, ideally within a luxury fashion brand
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse sales performance and respond proactively
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with partners, clients, and internal teams
- Proven ability to plan, track, and achieve sales and profit targets across multiple channels
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Passionate about customer experience and developing high-performing teams
- Proficiency in using retail management systems and tools to analyse and report on KPIs
- Experience liaising with warehouses and overseeing stock distribution
- Comfortable interpreting data to influence product development and buying decisions
- Ability to work flexibly and on-site in Greater London
- A relevant degree (e.g. Business, Marketing, Fashion) is advantageous but not essential

RETAIL SALES ADVISOR
We are looking for ambitious and dedicated individuals to join our retail team in our London boutiques and concessions in Harrods and Selfridges.
Main responsibilities
- To excel in all aspects of selling and inspire colleagues and customers by being a role model within the business
- To provide exceptional customer service at all times and maintain a high level of approach and conversation at all times.
- To consistently overachieve in sales, striving to increase on personal and store targets
- To actively seek opportunities to sell and increase sales
- To provide information for the weekly trade report to maximise business potential
- To monitor sales performance to highlight best and worst sellers
- To communicate all out of stock issues
- To ensure all customers are encouraged to join our mailing list.
- To ensure that the shop floor is fully operational for daily service
- Keep up to date with all product knowledge.
- To drive and deliver customer service standard to achieve an outstanding luxury service and quality experience
- To ensure all customers are dealt with professionally and in line with company standards and procedures
- To develop customer relationships and maintain an active customer base
- To adhere to the highest dress and grooming standards required by company policy
- To take ownership of store standards and maintain these to the highest level
- To ensure that stock is replenished regularly to maximise sales opportunities
- To undertake daily activities including cleaning etc.
- To check all deliveries are correct and report any discrepancies to your line Manager or Head Office.
