Caramel in Soho

We are delighted to announce the opening of our new store in London’s Soho. Just moments from Regent Street & nestled in amongst the twists & turns of this intriguing area, the new store is part of an urban village that has design hotel Ham Yard at its heart.

Revolving around a tree-filled courtyard, the hotel boasts a stylish restaurant & bar, chic British interiors, a rooftop garden (complete with vegetable plots), a 1950s bowling alley & a considered collection of beautiful independent stores of which Caramel Baby & Child is the newest addition.

Small but perfectly formed, light streams through the large windows that run the length of Caramel’s new store. Inspired by travel, and in keeping with the international crowd that view Ham Yard as their home-from-home, it is an elegant & understated curiosity shop of perfect gifts. The glass cabinets & vintage tailor’s desk showcase a charming edit of toys, books & accessories – curated by founder & creative director Eva Karayiannis – while Caramel’s own collection (available here in newborn to 8 years) bears witness to the refined simplicity, confident prints & distinctive colourways that characterise the brand.

Eager to meet our neighbours, we took a moment to explore the area & visit the stores that are just around the corner …

No village would be complete without a florist. We love Bloomsbury Flowers’ exquisite seasonal bouquets created by Mark Welford & Stephen Wicks, who also act as Ham Yard Hotel’s in-house florists.

There’s definitely no shortage of good coffee in Soho but we were delighted to find that our nearest coffee bar is less than a minutes walk from the Caramel store. Head to Tonic Coffee for your daily fix and enjoy beans supplied by London roaster Climpson & Sons.
