Caramel Loves: Things to do this Christmas

1) Sing Carols
The easiest way to get the feel-good factor?  Belt out your favourite carols. Failing that, head to St. John’s Smith Square Church for festive musical cheer.

2) The Nutcracker
Is there anything more Christmassy than foot-tapping along to the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy or the Waltz of Flowers? Check the English National Opera for children friendly performances of this festive classic.

3) Ice-Skating at Somerset House
Wear the largest faux fur hat you can muster and make like a Tolstoy heroine with your handmuff and head to Somerset House for hours of ice-skating.

4)  Bake
Host your own Bake off and create traditional festive treats from all around the world. Lebekuchen from Germany, Saffron buns from Sweden, Szaloncukor (chocolate fondant sweets) from Hungary or Spanish Turron.

5) Soup Kitchens
During festive excess, it’s also worth stopping and reflecting about those who are less fortunate than yourselves. Want to do something that about it? Find your nearest soup kitchen and volunteer
