Interiors Inspiration

Inspiration when it comes to the interiors of a children’s or baby’s bedroom is no small challenge. How do you balance saccharine pastels with strong prints and a unique, idiosyncratic approach that is so lacking in many bedrooms? At the core of Caramel’s homeware collection is a focus on strong prints and an unflinching way with colour as well as vintage embroidery.

For girls’ rooms, Eva Karayiannis has enjoyed exploring the juxtaposition of ditsy print floral bedding in shades of pink and sherbet lemon and then teaming the lot with embroidered applique on rectangular scatter cushions. It’s a look that is as pretty as it is strikingly original with its hints of old world charm and romance.
